Monitoring and Evaluation..proposed topic for assignemt 3

1. Discuss Benchmarking. Explain how it is relevant to your school / organization? Identify some areas where benchmarking is needed in your organization and develop a set of required benchmarking standards. What roles / input is expected of the leadership to apply them in the organization? What skill sets will be required for effective Benchmarking from people of your organization?

2. Critically analyze Performance Appraisal policy, framework and practices of your organization / school. Identify issues and concerns related to Performance appraisal system. If you were leading the school / organization / institution, how would you revise performance appraisal system of your organization? What elements will be critical to make it (your proposed system) work?

3. Define key components of teacher / staff supervision. What is the current system of staff / teacher supervision in your school / organization? Identify problems and concerns related to teacher supervision in your organization. Review current teacher supervision models available in literature. Develop a supervision model indigenous to your organization / school to promote learning, development and improvement?

4. Explain JCIA or IIP standards. Discuss its purpose, principles and process of evaluation. What does the literature say about the efficacy of the framework? Is it applicable for your organization, how? What will be the implications for organizational leadership and management? What skill sets will be required for its implementation?

5. Define the internal and external evaluation; describe the linkage between external and internal evaluation system in your school/organization. With support from the available literature, propose M&E framework which could enhance professional accountability and inturn improvement of your school/organization.
